CMZRB supports pro-export guarantees

Based on an agreement between the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank (CMZRB) and the Czech Export Bank (CEB), CMZRB is newly authorized to assist SMEs applying for guarantees issued by the CEB. The guarantees will enable sub-contractors of exporters to receive bank loans for financing their operational needs.

Guarantees can be used by SMEs which participate in export projects financed by the CEB (www.ceb.cz) or other banks cooperating with the CEB – Česká spořitelna (www.csas.cz.), Československá obchodní banka (www.csob.cz), Raiffeisenbank (www.rb.cz) and GE Money Bank (www.gemoney.cz).

The main tasks of CMZRB are the preliminary verification of the eligibility of clients and the respective transactions and providing assistance to the clients in approaching the CEB – the guarantee provider.

Key parameters of guarantees:

  • available for entrepreneurs with yearly turnover up to EUR 50 million;
  • 100% of principals of the loan can be guaranteed but no more than 80% of the subcontract value financed from the guaranteed loan;
  • maximum amount of a guarantee: CZK 30 mil. (EUR 1,2 mil.);
