ERDF: SMEs to reach EUR 326 Mio through EXPANSION Programme in the Czech Republic

The CMZRB and the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade signed an agreement enabling the launch of a new loan programme within the framework of the OP Enterprise and Innovations for Competitiveness called “EXPANSION”. It is a first example of financial instruments´ implementation in the programming period 2014-2020.

Interest-free investment loans will support around 900 SMEs´ projects with up to 45% of their eligible expenses (EUR 74,000-1,670,000). The preferential loans can be used for the purchase of tangible fixed assets and intangible assets with a grace period of up to 3.5 years. The respective call is planned to be launched in the course of the coming weeks.

“Loans with a maturity of up to 7 years will be provided to entrepreneurs by our Bank. However, an unavoidable condition for being granted such a loan is that financing of the project will be complemented by a bank loan provided through commercial banks or leasing companies cooperating with our Bank”, said Jiří Jirásek, the CEO of the CMZRB.
